Visitors for the first weekend of June

Clay Helton and the USC football team are expected to host some big recruiting weekends in June, made possible by the NCAA lifting travel restrictions. In this context, programs across the country are poised to take over and this could make June a very interesting month in the recruiting world.

As of now, the Trojans have a total of five recruits signed up for the Recruiting Class of 2022. However, they still have their eyes on plenty of targets as they attempt to build their class. Some of these targets will be on campus in early June for their visit.

According to USCScoop.com, the following recruits are expected to come to USC for official visits over the weekend of June 4-6:

  • RB 5 stars Gavin Sawchuk (Colorado)
  • 5 stars OG Devon Campbell (Texas)
  • WR Shazz Preston (Louisiana) 4 stars
  • 4 stars WR DJ Allen (Texas)
  • 4 stars WR Nicholas Anderson (Texas)
  • DB Jaeden Gould (New Jersey) 4 stars
  • ILB Ty Kana (Texas) 4 stars
  • OT 3 stars Austin Kawecki‍ (Texas)

That’s a solid list for the first official weekend of sightseeing in June. He is responsible for five prospects in the state of Texas. USC has been involved with the state of Texas in recruiting for quite some time now; it’s a hotbed of high school football in terms of rookies.

It’s not exactly fair to expect any entries for this weekend, but if USC could even get one, that would be a big step forward for the 2022 Class.
