UF offers FSU to commit QB Luke Kromenhoek
According to a report by 247Sportsa pair of quarterbacks from the Class of 2024 received scholarship offers earlier this week during a visit to the University of Florida.
One of those names was three-star Benedictine Military School quarterback (Savannah, Georgia) and Florida State pledge Luke Kromenhoek. He cut short the unofficial visit which included a lot of time with head coach Billy Napier.
“It was like a private practice,” Kromenhoek said. “It was me and another quarterback and we practiced with all the coaches watching. We both ended up getting an offer that day. It was a good time and I liked it. spend time with the coaches and get to know them.
Napier and Kromenhoek were able to sit down and review plays and pads after practice, giving the rising junior a better idea of what it would be like to be Gators rather than a Nole. He said he is strongly committed to Florida State at this time, but is also exploring all of his options, as suggested by FSU staff.
Oh Miss, Penn State, Tennessee and Virginia were the other schools he mentioned, but he still hasn’t seen them in person. However, there’s no guarantee Florida will be the leader in returning it either.
Kromenhoek is ranked No. 39 among quarterbacks in the Class of 2024 on the 247Composite sports. He could see jumping past his junior year if things went really well, but Napier liked what he saw enough to make the offer.
