Reds ‘in talks’ over Adeyemi and Klopp message to Hillsborough – Liverpool FC Roundup – Liverpool FC
So far there’s no time for Liverpool to breathe or track their progress – a huge semi-final awaits this weekend and there’s transfer news to update too!
Adeyemi in talks, according to top German source
Karim Adeyemi is 99% certain to leave RB Salzburg this summer – the only question is his landing spot. Predictably, RB Leipzig are enthusiastic and he is widely seen as Dortmund’s first choice to replace Erling Haaland as well.
But there is also Liverpool. We have been closely linked with the forward for the past 12 months or so and Sky Germany say we are locked ‘in talks’ with him as he assesses a crucial transfer.
The report claims €35m will seal the deal – around £29m – on a five-year deal on the Dortmund line. That’s the deal ‘all three parties’ want to seal, Sky claim, but talks are ongoing elsewhere and there is no final agreement in terms of bonuses and transfer structure.
We may be waiting for developments there, to see if the Reds will take a firm step at all.

- Erik ten Hag the Man United appointment is already proving costly – in particular, it apparently cost them the chance to sign Harry Kane
- Aurelien Tchouameni have been linked with one half of the Premier League but Real Madrid are reportedly already in talks for a £50m deal – a bit odd when they will clearly play Modric and Kroos until they are 300
- Mykola Matviyenko could be the next Ukrainian defender to join the English top flight, with Brentford keen on him and the player presumably seeing what Vitalii Mykolenko has had to go through since signing for the Ev and deciding it couldn’t get any worse
