Dan Bardell and Flo Lloyd-Hughes were joined by Tom Williams on this week’s episode of The Athletic Football Podcast.

The trio spoke about the ongoing identity crisis at Paris Saint-Germain.

Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe agreed to be asked about Saudi ownership of the club, but said he was only qualified to talk about football.

He said on Wednesday: “Football is what I know and what I trained for.

“As soon as I stray from that into an area where I don’t feel qualified to have a huge opinion, I think I’m entering dangerous territory.”

Last night’s lackluster loss to Atletico Madrid was indicative of a Manchester United side in dire need of a refresh.
