Liverpool talent Ethan Ennis hints on Instagram that he’s very close to joining Chelsea
Ethan Ennis may not be a big name at Liverpool, but he is now apparently set to leave Anfield to move to Chelsea.
The Reds will have plenty of young talent who will want to break through at Anfield, as have Trent Alexander-Arnold and Curtis Jones.
Not everyone can enjoy this success, however, and it seems Ennis has decided to seek success elsewhere.
Ennis to leave Liverpool for Chelsea?
This one appears to have come out of nowhere, but midfielder Ennis appears to be on the verge of leaving Liverpool.
The 16-year-old talent posted a photo to his Instagram Story from Cobham’s training ground in Chelsea, apparently ahead of a move to west London.
There is no confirmation or even rumors of the move yet, but the Instagram post seemed to suggest the deal was done.
Who is Ethan Ennis?
Ennis had a great time in March, as he entered as 64e substitute minute against the Under-18s of Liverpool against Sutton United.
He managed a hat-trick as a replacement to spark real excitement about his potential – but he’s now choosing to leave Anfield.
The Secret Scout claimed earlier this month that Manchester United are trying to sign Ennis, but it was Chelsea who appear to have won the race.
UPDATE: There have been suggestions on Twitter that Ennis is just considering his options and has yet to sign with Chelsea, but the Blues appear to be huge favorites right now after his trip to Cobham.
