Benfica to face Spartak Moscow in Champions League qualifying

Two-time European champion Benfica were paired with Spartak Moscow in the third qualifying round for this year’s Champions League, in the draw in Nyon, Switzerland on Monday.
Scottish champions Rangers will face Malmo or HJK Helsinki while their Glasgow rivals Celtic face PSV Eindhoven or Galatasaray if they beat Midtjylland in the second qualifying round.
In other meetings, Genk meets Shakhtar Donetsk while Monaco, finalist in 2004, faces Rapid Vienna or Sparta Prague.
The teams that win in the third qualifying round advance to the play-off round, the draw of which takes place on August 2.
The losing teams in the third qualifying round advance to the Europa League play-offs.
