April visit of 3 star LB Jeremiah Telander
Three-star linebacker Jeremiah Telander hoped his trip to the swamp would be an unforgettable experience on Thursday, and the Gators didn’t disappoint the rookie from Gainesville, Georgia.
According to 247Sports. Bateman was the go-to contact from the start for Telander and will be his position coach at UF if he chooses to sign. Telander also had the chance to meet Billy Napier at lunch with his parents.
The visit went well enough for Telander to embark on another trip to the swamp as his recruiting gets more serious.
“I haven’t scheduled a visit today with Florida, but we told them it would be one of my official visits in June,” he said. “Florida really blew up the park. From seeing nutrition to academics to soccer camps. They showed me a lot today.

Telander is considering the first or second weekend in June to schedule the visit, and Louisville and Tennessee are two other programs planned to welcome him during the summer. The goal is to have a commitment secured by the start of his senior season, but Telander said he wouldn’t rush things if he wasn’t sure.
North Carolina will bring him on an unofficial visit over the weekend to wrap up his spring schedule.
247Sports ranks Telander 76th among linebackers in the nation and 80th overall rookie at Georgia in the Class of 2023.
